1.1 The Chair Welcomed Members and members of the public.
2 Inquiry into Public Libraries in Wales: Evidence Session - Minister for Culture and Sport
2.1 The Committee received evidence from the Minister for Culture and Sport.
The Minister agreed to provide the following:
· figures on the number of people who have signed up for e-magazine services;
· information on arrangements that are in place for libraries in relation to the role out of the universal credit scheme; and
· a link to the Carnegie UK Report: A New Chapter - Public Library Services in the 21st Century
3 Scrutiny session on Human Trafficking: Evidence Session - Minister for Local Government and Government Business
3.1 The Committee received evidence from the Minister for Local Government and Government Business.
The Minister agreed to provide the following:
- a note on the legal responsibility of a building/land owner where slavery/human trafficking activates may be taking place; and
- to provide a copy of the play ‘Sold’.
